Erfolgreicher Austausch der USV-Anlagen im Forschungszentrum Jülich
Im Forschungszentrum Jülich spielt eine stabile und ausfallsichere Kommunikation eine zentrale Rolle. Um die Effizienz und Langlebigkeit der IT-Infrastruktur zu maximieren, haben wir zwei USV-Anlagen für die interne Telekommunikation erfolgreich ausgetauscht. Mit modernster Technologie stellen wir sicher, dass Telefon- und Netzwerktechnologie jederzeit reibungslos funktionieren.
Die neuen USV-Anlagen sind mit OPZS-Batterien ausgestattet, die für ihre Robustheit und Langlebigkeit bekannt sind. Diese ortsfesten Panzerplatten-Standard-Batterien ermöglichen eine einfache Überwachung des Wasserfüllstands und reduzieren damit den Wartungsaufwand erheblich. Dank des modularen Aufbaus der neuen USV-Anlage ist eine kontinuierliche Stromversorgung gewährleistet. Sollte ein Modul ausfallen, übernimmt sofort ein anderes – eine essenzielle Sicherheitsmaßnahme für kritische Infrastruktur.
Ein weiterer Vorteil des neuen Systems ist das optimierte Stufengestell. Dieses ermöglicht eine unkomplizierte Kontrolle des Wasserfüllstands der Batterien und erleichtert die manuelle Nachfüllung erheblich. Dadurch wird der Wartungsprozess nicht nur vereinfacht, sondern auch effizienter gestaltet. Um den höchsten Sicherheitsstandards gerecht zu werden, wurden die neuen USV-Anlagen mit Elektrolytauffangwannen ausgestattet. Diese fangen eventuell austretende Elektrolyte sicher auf und sorgen für eine normgerechte, sichere Wartung.
Die neue USV-Anlage ist nicht nur leistungsstark, sondern auch zukunftssicher. Zusätzliche Lastanforderungen lassen sich durch einfaches Einschieben weiterer Module realisieren. So kann das System flexibel an die Bedürfnisse des Forschungszentrums angepasst werden. Security and lighting solution for housing association
In one of our projects in Braunschweig we implemented a modern and sustainable security and lighting solution for a large housing association. Three high-rise buildings were equipped with innovative and energy-efficient technologies.
The corridors and stairwells of the buildings received a new, energy-efficient LED lighting concept. All conventional light sources have been replaced by LEDs that are controlled via presence detectors. This solution ensures optimal lighting and reduces energy consumption, which at the same time reduces operating costs.
In order to ensure maximum safety even in an emergency, we have equipped the building with combined escape route and safety lighting. This lighting remains active for up to 8 hours in the event of a power failure, supported by a battery system in the basement, and ensures that residents can be safely evacuated in an emergency.
All installed cables were also laid in fireproof ducts and no oxidizing materials were used. These measures make a decisive contribution to safety in the escape area and increase the fire protection standard of the buildings.
By switching to modern LED technology, energy consumption was reduced from 60-100 watts to 5-10 watts. This not only significantly reduces electricity consumption, but also saves residents additional costs and is an important step towards greater sustainability.

Visit of Olaf Lies
In July, Olaf Lies, Lower Saxony's Minister for Economy, transport, construction and digitalization, visit the akkuteam energy technology GmbH in Seesen.

From a two-person operation to a globally successful hidden champion in 25 years - akkuteam Energietechnik GmbH presents an impressive success story.
When Norbert Engel founded akkuteam Batterievertrieb GmbH out of unemployment in Pöhlde in the Harz Mountains in 1997, he probably didn't expect that his company would be today is perceived worldwide as a specialist for battery and backup power technology. For its 25th anniversary, the core competencies of his globally active family business now include the design, sales and maintenance of stationary and mobile battery systems as well as energy storage systems, static uninterruptible power supply systems, safety lighting systems and power generators, where akkuteam serves an electrical power range from a few watts to several megawatts.
10 years of battery testing laboratory - a reason to celebrate
This year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of our in-house battery testing laboratory. The testing facility at our headquarters in Herzberg am Harz meets very high technical standards and is equipped with a high-security power supply that is unique in Europe. This uninterruptible power supply allows us to guarantee accurate test results even in the event of a power outage. Numerous well-known battery and automobile manufacturers from all over the world rely on this testing reliability and our expertise in the areas of battery technology and analytics. Because we not only carry out battery tests in accordance with national (DIN) and international standards, but also in accordance with factory and group standards for our customers and have also been testing battery chargers through their paces for some time now.

After 12 months of construction: Commissioning of the Battery Care Station (BCS) in Seesen
At the beginning of this year, after 12 months of construction, we put our new Battery Care Station (BCS) on Rudolf-Diesel-Straße in Seesen into operation with 4,500 square meters of logistics and 500 square meters of office space. Competencies and capacities are now bundled under one roof in this logistics and processing center with the most modern equipment. On the one hand, the recharging station for batteries from overseas imports that have suffered a loss of voltage on the long sea journey can be found here. Best transport connections directly on the A7 motorway and centrally located in Germany offer us optimal conditions for our just-in-time model. We have a maximum charging capacity of 12,000 batteries per day, which we supply to well-known customers in the automotive sector and the largest German automotive companies. 20 years of individual chargers for the Volkswagen Group workshops
We have been developing and manufacturing individual chargers for the Volkswagen Group workshops for 20 years now. These special chargers for starter batteries are designed according to extensive specifications. Once approved by Volkswagen, they receive a VAS tool number and are sold worldwide exclusively to partner companies within the Volkswagen Group via Volkswagen's internal sales network "Workshop Equipment".
The charging characteristics of these devices comply with global specifications Group quality assurance and some have special functions that are only used in the Volkswagen Group's internal testing processes.
Today we are one of the largest suppliers in this segment worldwide. We have already delivered many thousands of devices to this market. We also offer a worldwide service for repairs and technical user advice.
